Officials believe merger would benefit them financially
From The San Antonio Express-News: Officials in the Texas school districts of Hunt and Ingramare exploring the feasibility of consolidating their two small districts. For that to occur, a majority of voters in each district must back the merger of Hunt's one 185-student campus, which serves pre-K through eighth grade, with the 1,100-student Ingram system, which has an elementary school, middle school and high school. About 40 Hunt students now attend Tom Moore High School in Ingram.
