University of Texas at Arlington breaks ground on Special Events Center

FromThe Dallas Morning News: The University of Texas at Arlington is breaking ground on its new $78 million multipurpose center. The Special Events Center, to be built on the east side of campus, will feature a court for the university's basketball and volleyball teams and will host commencement and community events. The 218,000-square-foot center is expected to open in 2012.
