June 29, 2011

From The Marshall Independent: Voters in the Lynd (Minn.) district will go to the polls on Aug. 30 to decide the fate of an $11.5 million bond request. The money would be used to replace the district's school, which houses grade preK to 8. The new building would have 65,000 square feet compared with 45,000 square feet in the existing school. A facilities committee found that the existing school had many deficiencies and determined it would be more cost-effective to replace the school rather than renovate it.
