Maine city looks at how to upgrade aging high school

Committee will recommend whether to renovate or build a new facility in Biddeford

The Biddeford, Maine, School Department has formed a building committee to determine what upgrades are needed to modernize the high school. School officials say much of the facility, more than 45 years old, is in serious disrepair and doesn't meet current educational needs. The committee is expected to consider renovating the facility or constructing a new building. The architect is Harriman Associates.
