Cornell University's New York City graduate school begins classes

Computer science master's program starts as school waits for campus to be built on Roosevelt Island.

Cornell University's planned campus in New York City for a graduate school of applied sciences has not yet been built, but the program is up and running. The New York Times says eight students enrolled in January in what is being called the beta class, a one-year master’s program in computer science.
