Skanska to renovate LSU building

Skanska is leading the $54 million project in a joint venture with MAPP Construction to reconfigure the three-story 28,000-square-meter building, originally built in 1977.

Skanska will renovate and expand the Patrick F. Taylor Hall building at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Skanska is leading the $54 million project in a joint venture with MAPP Construction to reconfigure the three-story 28,000-square-meter building, originally built in 1977. The company will also add about 12,000 square meters of classroom and lab space, as well as add an auditorium.

Work on the new expansion is expected to begin in November of 2014. While the renovation will begin in January of 2015. The project is scheduled for completion in June 2017.
