Student monitor thwarts Seattle shooter (with video)

A student building monitor at a small Seattle university thwarted a shooter who intended to kill as many people as he could before committing suicide. The student monitor, John Meiss, 22, sprayed the assailant with pepper spray and tackled him to the ground as the shooter paused to reload, the Associated Press reported. He and a group of other students subdued the attacker after he opened fire killing one 19-year old student and wounding two others. The shooter was arrested.
