Special-education rule violations reported in Folsom Cordova district

State records show more than 60 violations over 4 years

The Folsom Cordova (Calif.) Unified School District has violated special-education rules 63 times in the past four years, according to state records. The Sacramento Bee says the violations ranged from placing a child in a restraint chair without informing the child's parents to failing to provide families with progress reports in a timely fashion.
