Suspect arrested at McNair Discovery Learning Academy in Decatur

Gunshots were fired at a DeKalb County, Ga., elementary school, but no one was injured and the gunman is in custody. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a 25-year-old man was arrested at Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy in Decatur. The alleged gunman, dressed in black and armed with an AK-47 entered the school and talked to a clerk. He surrendered peacefully after being confronted by police officers
