Proposed charter school says it will reduce size to appease neighbors

After hearing concerns from residents who say traffic is already snarled, officials from Ben Gamla Charter School in Hollywood, Fla., say they will reduce the size of a proposed high school to hold 600 students instead of 1,050. The Miami Herald says the announcement came at a community meeting as the city staff tries to decide whether to recommend approval of the project. homeowners near the site say the residential area is not suited for a school.
