Philadelphia accuses architectural firms of design flaws

The School District of Philadelphia contends in lawsuits that nearly two dozen architecture and design firms are responsible for millions of dollars worth of “design deficiencies” at district buildings. NBC10 Philadelphia says 25 lawsuits seek up to $2 million in damages on projects done through the district’s Capital Improvement Program. The school argues that the projects had “deficiencies in the drawings and specifications” and hopes to recover up to $2 million from the firms.
