Minot (N.D.) fails to win approval of $125 million bond proposal
Dec. 13, 2013
Voters in Minot, N.D., have defeated a $125 million school bond proposal. The Minot Daily News says a slim majority favored the proposal, but a 60 percent majority was needed for approval. The bonds would have paid for several projects: a new 550-student elementary school; construction of a second 9-12 high school; conversion of the district's Central Campus into a fourth middle school; elementary school additions; and safety and security measures.
