8-week teachers strike ends in Strongsville, Ohio

New contract runs through July 2015

The Strongsville (Ohio) school board has approved an agreement to end an eight-week strike by teachers. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Monday's classes were cancelled, and students and replacement teachers were  given a chance to say goodbye Monday morning. Returning teachers will have access to classrooms later in the day, and school resumes Tuesday.
