3 elementary schools move to year-round schedule in Warren (Mich.) district

Three elementary schools in the Warren (Mich.) District have converted to a year-round schedule. The Detroit News says about 1,000 students are enrolled at the three campuses--Holden, Fillmore and Siersma elementaries; about 4,000 students attend district elementary schools that follow a traditional schedule. Statewide, 33 districts or charter schools offer year-round classes.
