2 Baltimore schools get upgrades with help from Johns Hopkins University

Renovations at two public schools in Baltimore--Margaret Brent and Barclay--have been completed with the help of funds from The Johns Hopkins University. The Baltimore City district matched the university's $800,000 contribution, enabling the two schools to replace badly worn, inadequate, out-of-date restrooms; renovate their cafeterias; create more welcoming and secure entrances; and install windows and doors to admit more daylight.
