More than 3.1 million teachers were working in U.S. public schools in 2015, and more than three-fourths of them were women.

Statistics from the National Education Association's May 2016 Rankings & Estimates say that more than 3.1 million teachers were working in U.S. public schools in 2015. More than three-fourths of them were women. According to the NEA, only 23.7 percent of U.S. public school teachers in 2015 were men. 

Here are the 10 states that have the highest percentage of male public school teachers.
