Two dozen students injured when two school buses collide in Indianapolis

The injuries to students from Lawrence North High School are not life-threatening, officials say.

About 25 high school students and two drivers were injured Friday morning in Indianapolis after two school buses collided on the city’s northeast side.

WISH-TV reports that none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Police say one bus rear-ended the other just after 8:30 a.m. About 30 students from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis were on board the vehicles. The school is part of the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township.

Investigators were working to determine the cause of the crash.
