Renovation earns LEED gold at University of Maryland Eastern Shore

Somerset Hall underwent $7.2 million renovation

From The Delmarva Daily Times: Somerset Hall, a former residence hall that now is home to a pharmacy school at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, has received LEED gold certification. The 62-year-old neo-Georgian style building has undergone a $7.2 million renovation. The interior of the three-story building was gutted, and contractors installed new interior walls and ceilings, flooring, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical service and telecommunications systems.
