Casey Elementary was built to receive LEED silver certification for environmentally friendly design

News release: The U.S. Department of Defense is preparing to open Casey Elementary School on U.S. Army Garrison Casey in South Korea. The K-8 school will be housed in a facility that has undergone a $5 million, 30,000 square-foot renovation. The project incorporated sustainable design concepts to meet requirements for LEED silver certification.
