$250,000 rooftop garden is a gift from the classes of 2009 and 2010

From The Cleveland Plain Dealer: A rooftop garden has been installed atop the Recreation Center at Cleveland State University. On Wednesday, a crane hoisted the first of 15,000 plants to the roof of the Rec Center, the final step in installing a 7,000-square-foot green roof. The $250,000 project is a gift to the university from the classes of 2009 and 2010. The Rec Center's garden, on the third floor next to the indoor track, will generate revenue because it can be rented for events. A new door makes it wheelchair-accessible from the indoor campus "interlink" system.
