Kansas City district looks to sell downtown HQ

City is interested in buying district's building

The Kansas City (Mo.) school board has decided the time is ripe to sell its downtown headquarters building next to the city's new sports arena. The district apparently has at least one suitor: the city. The block could be converted into a City Hall annex with a 500-plus space underground parking garage for the newly opened Sprint Center arena.
