County commissioners release funding for replacement of Pineville and Bain campuses
From The Charlotte Observer: Mecklenburg County, N.C., commissioners have released funding that will enable the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district to replace two elementary schools. Pineville Elementary and Bain Elementary will contain the same amenities--39 classrooms, special area classrooms, computer lab, media center, cafeteria and gym. Construction cost for each school is estimated at about $11 million. Design costs, furnishings and other added items bring the total cost of each school to about $15 million. #ixzz1TnAyCRoQ
