Harvard won't accept transfer students

Housing shortage prompts college to adopt two-year moratorium on admitting transfer students

Harvard College in Cambridge, Mass., will not accept transfer students for the next two academic years because of a shortage of undergraduate student housing. The school based his decision on a recent study of the college's residential housing. The college is beginning to plan a massive renovation of its residential facilities.
