Three arrested in popcorn fire prank at Connecticut campus

No one is injured in incident at Central Connecticut State University

From The New Britain Herald: Two athletes and a former school football player at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain have been arrested after pulling an alleged popcorn prank that drew police and firefighters to a residence hall. The threeare accused of setting off a fire alarm with burning popcorn after they tied the doors shut to several residence hall rooms. No one was injured, but school officials say they have offered counseling services to students at Vance Hall, where the incident occurred.
