Four students were wounded, one critically, by gunfire Tuesday afternoon in a parking lot outside a high school campus in San Francisco.
KGO-TV reports that three boys and a girl were wounded after shots were fired into a group of students outside the June Jordan School for Equity.
The girl was reported to have life-threatening injuries. The boys sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the lower extremities and are expected to recover.
Police were searching for four suspects in the shooting.
The shooters were described as outsiders who targeted a specific a student, according to a statement from the San Francisco Unified School District. police have not disclosed a motive for the shooting.
Classes were in session Wednesday at the school, and counselors were available for students affected by the incident.
