University of California forms sustainability advisory group

The advisory group’s goal is to bring the university’s operations to carbon neutrality by 2025.

University of California President Janet Napolitano has formed an advisory group that will guide UC sustainability efforts. The advisory group’s goal is to bring the university’s operations to carbon neutrality by 2025.

The council members, who had their first meeting on June 9, include UC officials, students and outside experts.
