Injury is not life-threatening, police say; another student is in custody

A shooting at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, N.C., has left one student with non-life threatening injuries and another student in custody. The Winston-Salem Journal says the school was on lockdown after the incident. Police say a Carver student is in custody in connection with the shooting, police reported. The victim, a male student, suffered a non-life threatening injury and was being treated at a local hospital.
