Student dies a day after being found unconscious at California high school

A student at Esparto High School in Esparto, Calif., has died a day after being found unconscious in the school's weight room. The Sacramento Bee says the male student, whose identity was not disclosed, was found at about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He was taken by ambulance to a Woodland hospital and then transferred to a Sacramento hospital, where he was declared brain dead on Wednesday.
