Some in Washington, D.C., region worry that portable classrooms are more than temporary

At a time of rising enrollments and strained capital budgets in much of the Washington, D.C., area, more than 2,000 portable classrooms are being used in the region’s public schools. The Washington Post says that some parents worry that children housed in portables have to learn in conditions that are more cramped and more isolated than those found in traditional brick-and-mortar classrooms.
