Northampton (Pa.) district is building a new middle school

New construction comes after 38 years of on-and-off discussion about replacing the existing middle school.

The Northampton Area (Pa.) School District has broken ground on a 272,000-square-foot middle school. The Morning Call reports that the district has been trying since 1975 to build a new facility to replace its existing middle school.
