Man charged in stabbing at Texas community college

A 20-year-old man accused of stabbing 14 people at a Texas community college campus will be held without bail and will undergo psychiatric tests. The Houston Chronicle reports that the man, Dylan Quick, admitted to authorities that he stabbed victims with an X-acto knife and a scalpel. Quick is charged with three counts of aggravated assault after the attacks near the Health Sciences building on the Cy-Fair campus of Lone Star College near Houston. Twelve victims were taken to area hospitals,and two people declined treatment. The most seriously wounded had stab wounds to the neck and face. The campus reopened Wednesday morning for normal operations.
