Andre Maloney, a senior at Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park, Kan., died Friday after suffering a stroke the night before during a football game. The Kansas City Star says that Maloney, 17, a wide receiver and cornerback who was part of the school's state championship team in 2012, became disoriented and collapsed on the sideline after scoring a touchdown on a 63-yard pass. He had committed to play football next year at the University of Kansas.
