Facility in city's South Loop area will serve students in grades preK to 12

The British School of Chicago will open its second campus in the city in September 2015 in the South Loop area. DNAinfo Chicago reports that the campus will be situated in the Roosevelt Collection development and serve students from preschool through high school. Residents of the area have objected to the having a school on the site; they say the former owners of the land had promised to develop a park there. The plans for the school that have been approved by the city call for a park on the rooftop that is accessible to the public.
