$15 million donation for art college in California

Art Center College of Design in Pasadena will will new studios and labs

The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif., a training ground for automobile designers, has received a $15 million donation from Peter and Merle Mullin to enhance the school’s industrial and transportation design programs. The New York Times says the bequest will be used in part to build new operations – including studios and labs – for transportation and other design programs on the Art Center South Campus.
