Achieving Long-Term Efficiency Where it Counts

Faced with maintaining and modernizing schools built in the 1950s and 1960s, Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (HLPUSD) partnered with Schneider Electric to tackle much-needed facility improvements and to achieve long-term energy efficiency by leveraging an Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) and a Proposition 39 grant from the State of California. This project is saving the district $800,000 a year, which is being reinvested in school improvements.
