University of Pennsylvania forms e-waste recycling partnership

Electronic Recyclers International (ERI) has agreed to partner with the University of Pennsylvania on its environmental project, according to Waste360.

The Fresno, Calif.-based electronic waste recycling firm is collaborating with the university’s Wharton School of Business’ Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership (IGEL) on initiatives that combine bond sustainability and business best practices, ERI said in a news release. The academic partnership also aims to develop the next generation of sustainability solutions for electronic recycling and the community in general.
