Reusing casework in labs for savings and sustainability.

The casework in today’s laboratories has a deployment lifetime of three to eight years. Though the modules have a much longer serviceable lifetime, they are decommissioned because of the frequent churning of laboratory fixtures and layout, which is itself brought on by advancing research techniques. From the standpoint of savings alone, there is a strong argument for harvesting existing casework in any lab renovation. Sustainability bolsters that argument.
