Donation Will Pay for Renovation of Fitness Center at Oklahoma Christian University

Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond has received a six-figure donation that will pay for a renovated fitness center and new fitness equipment all over campus, reports  Club Industry.

The contribution from Valari Wedel, a 1982 graduate of Oklahoma Christian, and her husband, Greg, a member of the university's board of trustees, is the anchor gift for the campus-wide fitness equipment overhaul. It also will pay for an extensive renovation of the university’s primary fitness center, now known as “The Dub.”

Construction on the fitness center renovation will begin after the spring semester and will be completed this summer.
