Completed WKU dining project bequeaths hot tailgating spot

A temporary building that has housed the Western Kentucky University’s dining services for the last two years is being demolished, WBKO-TV reported. Now that the $50 million renovation of Downing Student Union is nearly finished, Topper Café will be razed and returned to green space. WBKO described the area, known as the South Lawn, as a prime spot for tailgating and recreational activities on the Bowling Green campus.
