The Chula Vista Elementary School District has received what it calls an "Oscar" of the construction industry for renovations on local public schools.

The Chula Vista Elementary School District has received what it calls an "Oscar" of the construction industry for renovations on local public schools. The National Association of General Contractors recognized the district and contractor Douglas E. Barnhart Inc. with a Build America Award for the 72-day renovation of Juarez-Lincoln, Lauderbach and Mueller Charter elementary schools.
