University of Central Florida, Orlando, psychology building

A $14 million psychology building has been added to the main campus of the University of Central Florida, Orlando.

The three-story, 75,000-square-foot building will provide the psychology department with classrooms, computer-based teaching laboratories, research laboratories, conference and seminar rooms, an auditorium, faculty and staff offices, graduate student office areas, a community clinical training and research clinic, a workshop and storage areas.

The structure includes an exterior curtainwall and brick with aluminum panel accents, allowing the facility's design to correspond with the existing campus architecture.

The architect for this project is Baker Barrios Architects Inc. (Orlando, Fla.)
