Across the Nation: Library renovation for parish school

St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School, Coral Gables, Fla.

CORAL GABLES - A renovation of the school library at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School was completed last fall.

The renovation more than doubled the library's size. A media room was added, as well as a meeting room, which can be partitioned off for events for parents and the community.

The library is now surrounded on three sides by windows. A young children's corner also was added.

The school plans to add to the second floor of the building beginning in June. Plans call for more classroom and office space, a multimedia room to be used jointly by the church and school, and a church library.

Architect for the project was J. Scott Architects. Business Interiors designed the interiors for the renovation.
