Deirdre Imus Environmental Center for Pediatric Oncology offers green cleaning program

The Deirdre Imus Environmental Center for Pediatric Oncology at the Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center is encouraging education institutions to adopt more environmentally friendly practices through its "Greening Your Schools" program. The center says the goal of the greening effort is making available to schools "the safest and most environmentally responsible cleaning products possible." All profits from the cleaning products go to the center to support education and research on environmental factors that may cause adult, and especially pediatric cancer and other health problems.
