Board will pay $4.3 million for 143-acre site in Rolesville

From The Raleigh News & Observer: The Wake County (N.C.) school board has agreed to buy land for a new high school. The board will pay $4.3 million for about 143 acres in Rolesville as a site for both a high school and an elementary school. The planned purchase comes after the board dropped plans in February to build a high school in northeast Raleigh. The new Rolesville site, tentatively called Rolesville High School, might be ready as soon as 2013.
