Texas Tech begins construction on autism center

Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research scheduled to be completed in 2013

From The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal: Texas Tech University in Lubbock has broken ground on a new home for the Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research. The project will create an autism education and research facility that includes 28,458 square feet of space for clinical facilities. It will have research and support space, class laboratories, academic offices and a nationally branded café.
