Texas district to go wireless

Northside district in San Antonio says it will be the largest district in Texas to cut the cord.

In about 14 months, the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas, will be the largest school district in the state to be completely wireless. The district has about 100 buildings, including schools and support facilities, and covers about 355 square miles. Installing the wireless network will cost about $6.7 million and is expected to be completed by next fall.
