Sports-related concussions have doubled for those 8 to 13

From The Chicago Sun-Times: Emergency room visits for concussions among young athletes playing team sports have more than doubled over a 10-year period, and 40 percent of these injuries are sustained by children ages 8 to 13. Those are among the key findings of a new study that is one of the first to provide data on sports-related concussions in children in elementary and middle school.
