Science Building under construction at Middle Tennessee State University

$147 million facility will have 250,000 square feet of space

From The Nashville Tennessean: Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro has begun construction on a long-awaited $147 million Science Building. The facility will provide more than 250,000 gross square feet of teaching, faculty and student research laboratories and collaborative learning spaces. At least 80 percent of all MTSU students will take at least one class in the new building. It is scheduled to open in 2015.
