Three 15-year-old boys allegedly planned an attack at Lakeshore High in St. Tammany Parish

From The New Orleans Times Picayune: Three students at Lakeshore High School near Mandeville, La., have been arrested after allegedly plotting a shooting spree that would have occurred on the first day of classes. The plan allegedly targeted at least one student and a faculty member and would have culminated with the boys' suicides. Other Lakeshore students became aware of the plot and alerted school administrators; officials with the school district and sheriff's department in St. Tammany Parish foiled the plot. The three teens, all 15 years old, called their group "Day Zero." They have been arrested and booked on charges of conspiracy to commit terrorism.

UPDATE: Students at Lakeshore High School returned to classes this morning; a judge sets a bond of $500,000 for each of the boys charged in the conspiracy.
