District prepares to begin construction on 102,000-square-foot school

The Livingston Parish (La.) is preparing to build a 102,000-square-foot junior high school. Juban Parc Junior High School will be built in the Denham Springs area and will have 39 classrooms, a gym, a band room and a cafeteria with full kitchen. District officials hope the school will be ready to open in 2009-10. The architect is Alvin Fairburn and Associates.
